Kitchen hours being confirmed.

At Jomtien Sauna & Gym, the kitchen cooks two menus side by side. The Thai side runs from stir-fried basil with rice, pad Thai and rad na to green and panang curry, tom yum, larb and som tam. The American side covers breakfasts, sandwiches, burgers, tacos, pizza, pasta, fish and chips and an Australian steak. The owner sums it up as very good Thai food and American cuisine, served straight to your table.

Many guests eat between swims or straight after the gym, so the menu leans towards refuelling too: protein smoothies by the scoop, smoothie bowls, fruit juice and fresh coconuts. Later in the day the bar mixes cocktails and pours Thai and imported beer. Food and drinks are served to guests using the pool, sauna and gym, so you can eat by the pool at your own table. For an early breakfast or a late meal, message us on WhatsApp to check the kitchen is open, and see the entry pass options if you want to swim or use the sauna as well.

Protein smoothies, juices and fresh coconuts

The healthy end of the menu is built for people who have just trained. Protein smoothies are priced per scoop, so you decide how much protein goes in, and you can add milk. There are fruit smoothies, a mixed fruit smoothie bowl and fruit juice, and a fresh coconut is one of the simplest ways to rehydrate after the sauna. For a fuller meal after a session, the breakfasts with extra eggs, the chicken dishes and the steak are the high-protein choices. For healthy food in Pattaya between sauna rounds, this is the part of the menu to start with.

Coffee, juice and soft drinks

If you'd rather skip alcohol, there is hot or iced coffee and tea, fresh fruit juice, fresh coconut, soft drinks and bottled water. Sauna guests also get free drinking water, so keep a glass close between hot rounds. Iced coffee and a coconut are the two most useful things to order on a hot afternoon by the pool.

Cocktails and beer

The bar list keeps it simple: classic cocktails such as a mojito, a margarita, a piña colada and a White Russian; Thai and imported beers, including an alcohol-free one; cider, a gin long drink and a short list of spirits. If you plan to go back into the sauna, save the drink for the end of your visit: health guidance is to avoid alcohol before and after a sauna.

House rule

  1. No outside food or drink

Food and drinks are served on site, from the kitchen and the bar.
